IN HER JULY 6, 2015 “MAYFIELD MINUTE,” a report to her constituents, Representative Debbie Mayfield outlined $ 36 million in spending for Indian River Lagoon water cleanup efforts, as approved in Florida’s 2015-2016 state budget.

Brevard County North Courtenay Parkway Sewer Main Extension: $425,000
Brevard County Sewer Inflow and Infiltration Reduction: $800,000
Canaveral City Park Ex-Filtration Project: $589,000
Cocoa Beach Removing Stormwater Contaminants on Minutemen Causeway: $400,000
Central and Northern Indian River Lagoon and the Banana River Muck Dredging: $9,574,462
Daytona Beach Sanitary Sewer River Crossing Force Main: $1,000,000
Eau Gallie River Muck Removal: $10,000,000
Groveland Reservoir and Stormwater Treatment Area: $3,000,000
Indian River County Oyster Bed Project: $50,000
Martin County Leilani Heights Stormwater Improvement Projects: $50,000
Martin County North River Shores Phase II Vacuum Sewer System: $1,500,000
Melbourne Horse Creek Dredging Project: $810,000
Ocean Breeze Treating Toxic Stormwater: $150,000
Palm Bay Basin 1 Stormwater Treatment Project: $250,000
Port Orange White Acres Utilities Improvement: $750,000
St. Johns Water Management District (grants & aids to local governments): $2,750,000
South Florida Water Management District (grants & aids to local governments): $3,850,000
