LAURA MOSS OF VERO BEACH HAS FILED TO RUN AS A CANDIDATE THIS NOVEMBER, 2015 FOR VERO BEACH CITY COUNCIL. Mrs. Moss has been a year-round resident of the city since 2005. In March, 2015 she was elected Member-at-Large of the Utilities Commission by the Vero Beach City Council.

“Our city currently is saddled with serious issues that need a fresh look. I hope to take that fresh look,” said Moss. “Voters, for example, have expressed to me their concern regarding costly lawsuits that have benefitted no one but the lawyers themselves.”

Among her other civic activities, Moss currently serves on the Steering Committee of The Circle at the Vero Beach Museum of Art and recently was appointed Chairwoman of Literacy Outreach for the Rotary Club of Vero Beach Oceanside. She also is a member of Trinity Church in Vero Beach.

    What is Ms Moss’ platform? Is she Tea party? Or is she “Keep Vero Vero?”
    Tea party is comitted to bankrupt Vero via giving away the power plant (my opinion). The Shores and County accusations are unfounded.
