“WHY LA TO VERO BEACH?  IT’S PRETTY SIMPLE AND THE SIMPLICITY IS AMAZING.

I spent the better part of my life running around all different parts of the world. As a drummer and music producer, the idea of a long-term home was not something that worked for my career or for me. The simple month- to-month rentals and open leases made it easier to jump at the drop of a hat and lay my hat wherever the gig, recording or project was.

As I shifted more to production, I was able to be in certain places for longer and as the production went to consulting, I was able to connect with clients by phone or Skype very easily.

After a long 2014 summer being on the road doing a book tour for The Artists Guide to Success in the Music Business where I went to 63 cities in 73 days, the last thing I wanted to do was go back to Los Angeles. I found that even on the road, I was in touch with people and I was a point where I could keep in touch with out needing to reach a hand out for a handshake.

The idea of living in a place where I could walk on the beach everyday…

The idea of being in a place where I could be private and keep to myself…

The idea of working over the phone or over video…

And

The idea of planting myself and becoming part of a community…

Was very appealing and took over for me.

Of all the places in the country, I found Vero Beach gave me every thing I was looking for.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I miss the feel of NYC, I miss the restaurants of LA, I miss the Sushi up in Seattle and little bits and pieces from places around the country and around the world… but it still balances out and I have no intention of leaving Vero Beach.

While I still work with those clients who are located elsewhere, I want to bring some of my services to where I live now. It may take time, but I want to help the community that I want to be a part of… because…

This is my home and in many ways, this is my first true home in over 20 years. I can’t imagine ever leaving here.”
